I’m all for celebrities endorsing products but this seems just a little…laughable. And in more ways than one. The pout ain’t working sister.

Usually, I’m not a fan, but with no Nordstrom in sight in the middle of the Arizona desert (long story), I picked up a bright tube of Covergirl’s Lash Blast…and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised.  No clumps, lengthens and volumizes (is that even a word?), and comes off with just water.  Kudos to Covergirl.

Jennifer Aniston drinks smartwater. So does Tom Brady. Oh and one can’t forget Carrie Underwood and 50 Cent endorsing glacéau’s other baby — vitamin water. 

Celebrity endorsements are the new go-to preferred way of advertising. Once considered a cliché approach, many companies now specifically seek it out. Keds has Mischa Barton, Estee Lauder uses Gwyneth Paltrow, St. John’s loves Angelina Jolie, L’Oreal has Jessica Alba, Dior recently shot an ad campaign with Jude Law, Proactiv uses Jessica Simpson, and of course we can’t forget (nor would we want to) David Beckham’s Armani Underwear ad.

So the question of the day is: do celebrity endorsements work for you? Are you more likely to buy a certain product/service because the celeb you like endorses it? Share your thoughts people!

Victoria Beckham graces the August cover of Allure and I must say girlfriend is looking stunning! I’ve always been a big Posh fan.  If you’ve ever read or heard her interviews, you know she is surprisingly quite witty, funny, and is the first to poke fun at her public image. Case in point:
On the rumors of her never eating: “I’ve been accused of not eating for 10 years. If I hadn’t eaten that long I’d be awfully hungry.”

And apparently…Vicki doesn’t wear a single stilleto in the spread - gasp! Fabulous!

I am seriously loving the Pureology hair care lines…not only because their products are all color safe, but they are also earth friendly and vegan.  All the ingredients are biodegradable and contain no animal ingredients.  Plus, they make my hair shiny, smooth, voluminous, and they smell absolutely divine.  What’s not to love?

Nicole Kidman gave birth to Sunday Rose Kidman Urban on Monday morning in Nashville, Tennessee. Baby Sunday weighed in at 6 lbs., 7.5 oz. This is the first child for Nicole and Keith. Nicole has two other children with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Congratulations to the lovely Aussies!
